Packaged Wastewater Treatment Systems

AUC’s packaged wastewater treatment systems are well suited for decentralized wastewater treatment in remote areas. The modular and scalable design of packaged plants allows clients to start off small and add additional capacity as needed. The plants can also be moved to an alternative location at a later stage or removed completely if no longer needed.

All of our packaged wastewater treatment plants are designed for permanence; however, they can also be disassembled and removed or relocated if the needs of the development change. AUC packaged plants:

• Can be customized according to any specifications.
• Can be easily scaled up should capacity needs increase.
• Are easy to operate and maintain.
• Are fitted with hot dipped galvanized handrails, walkways, air headers and drop pipes for a lifespan of 20-plus years.
• Are treated with a high-build epoxy coating system that can provide 12 to 15 years of corrosion protection.

Concentric Circle Wastewater Treatment Systems

While any of our wastewater treatment plants can be a permanent solution, traditional concentric circle plants offer smaller footprints, higher flow rates, and lower costs.

Concentric circle plants have a central clarifier with a ring of sludge bed chambers encircling it, incorporating both elements in a single multi-purpose structure. This space-saving configuration shrinks plant footprint significantly for sites where every square foot matters. Where the flexibility of a packaged plant is not required, permanent concentric circle plants offer a familiar alternative that sports attractive advantages.

Trusted Wastewater Treatment Technologies

Our design philosophy is to keep the plant as simple to own and operate as possible. With that in mind, plants also have to reliably meet effluent criteria as outlined by local environmental authorities.

For the majority of our installations, we start with a conventional activated sludge plant. This is a robust design that can handle normal variations in flow and loadings due to the higher rate loadings.

AUC Group also has plants that incorporate:

• Biological nutrient removal (BNR).
• Membrane bioreactors (MBR).
• Sequencing batch reactors (SBR).
• Moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR).
• Integrated fixed film activated sludge (IFAS).
• Chemical phosphorous removal.
• Tertiary treatment.

These technologies are ideal for more stringent nutrient removal or for sites with footprint constraints. From there, reuse options and drip irrigation discharge can be added.
