AUC celebrates Earth Day, every day.

 

We take pride in knowing our wastewater treatment facilities treat influent, meeting regulatory requirements, before releasing it back into the environment. How can you do your part in supporting Earth Day?

 

  • Use a reusable water bottle
  • Buy reusable grocery bags
  • Unsubscribe from catalogs and junk mail
  • Collect rainwater
  • Use a water-saving shower head
  • Wash laundry in cold water
  • Unplug appliances when not in use
  • Use a cloth towel instead of paper towels
  • Try reusable batteries
